Yogyakarta is always delightful surprise. It has 3,3 milions
people in 3186 km2, there is 500.000 occupant in city of Yogyakarta. The name
of city of ‘’ city f bicycle ‘’ had given to Jogja at last. But now, Yogyakarta
had become busy by occupant activity and a lot of traffic jam till diminishing
cyclists. If you want to feel Yogyakarta typical atmosphere at a time we can go
outside from the main road then enter into settlement.
There is a lot of
epithet given to this city, among other : City of art, city of History, city of
culture, city of student and city of Gudeg. Why did city of student ?, it’s
cause some of student from various parts of Indonesia homeland was study there
and some of outstanding University also available.
Yogyakarta or we know ‘’Jogja’’ has a role in
the history of Indonesian independence . The sreet of Malioboro was main road which
split Yogyakarta city was taken from ‘’ Duke of Marlborough-,’’ name. This
street is elongated from north to south, start by railway station to palace which is located just down the road. Some of
merchandise and souvenir shop was sold
here.
